Administrative Specialist

Tiana Alexis Cabiero joined the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium as a full-time administrative specialist effective September 14, 2026.

An experienced professional in medical administrative services, Tiana oversees and provides high-level support in all consortium administrative needs, budgeting and special events/meetings under the supervision of Ángel Ramírez, CVHEC associate director. She will also provide support to Dr. Benjamín Durán, CVHEC executive director.

A native of Fresno and an alumna of Clovis Community College, Tiana aligns closely with CVHEC’s mission of making higher education more attainable in the Central Valley. Tiana is a first-generation college student who encouraged her mother to finish her associates degree and pursue her J.D. Tiana plans to continue her education journey as well, whether that be completing a J.D. of her own or pursuing an MBA.

Prior to her role at CVHEC, Tiana holds an Esthetics license with 7 years of experience. She worked in plastic surgery/aesthetics for 4 years before switching to higher education.

In her personal time, Tiana visits the gym or spends time with her nephew, Chandler. Tiana enjoys traveling, jet-skiing at Millerton Lake with her family, and being a mom to her two black cats, Barbie and Miu Miu.
