The State Center Community College recently named Dr. Andy Dunn as interim chancellor following the retirement of Dr. Carole Goldsmith.

Dunn, who previously served as SCCCD’s interim deputy chancellor, brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in California community colleges.

Most recently, he served as a special assistant to the president of Monterey Peninsula College.

During his career, he held chief business officer roles in both single-college and multi-college districts across the California Community Colleges system.

He joins the CVHEC Board of Directors at its quarterly meeting Oct. 14 hosted by Modesto Junior College.
