Central Regional Coordinator

Saundra retired from West Hills College Coalinga after 18 years as a counselor and the last 4 years as the Vice President of Student Services. In the 22 years at WHCCD, she served as Transfer Center Director, the Curriculum Committee lead, was on the President’s Council and the last few years before retirement was instrumental in assisting faculty in developing the Associate Degree Transfer programs.

After retirement in 2017, Saundra served on the College Promise grant that helped create the Toolkit for high schools and community colleges’ free tuition protocol for students.

After the grant period ended, Saundra joined CVHEC to serve as the Central Regional Coordinator. She primarily focuses on State Center Community College District and West Hills Community College District colleges but also assists with Associate Transfer Degree and AB705/AB1705. Saundra loves the interaction with the CVHEC staff and partners.
